Dagger has an incredible and dynamic new design called the Indra! I am excited about this boat and hope you will be too! The Indra rides high on the surface and floats me extremely well at 170lbs. This boat is very stable and turns easily.
The Indra shines in big water and going over features. It is easy to sink the stern to turn or lift the bow. The bow stays on the surface easily landing off drops and rides high skipping over large holes. It is maneuverable and easy to place on the correct line. This boat is stable and recovers quickly when bracing. The Indra will be sure to bring a permagrin to your face as you skip and carve your way down the river!

Team Tested, Paddler Proven
I have been paddling Indra prototypes for over a year now and am ecstatic that this boat is finally available to you! One of the most enjoyable things about being on the Dagger team is testing and giving feedback on new products. I gave lots of feedback on the Indra during prototype testing, most of which was applied to the final boat.
The Indra has become a kayak that meets every wish that I have for a high performance kayak! Dagger always takes their time. They avoid rushing any design and make sure that when it comes to final production, the boat performs exactly how it is supposed to! Oh yea!
All the boxes are checked and what you have is one incredibly innovative design. The Indra is sure to get your stoke level high, like a violinist sliding up the E string!

Initial Impressions of the Indra
Pulling the boat out of the wrapper, my first thoughts immediately went to how awesome the bow looks! The bow is big, highly rockered and whitewater ready! The edge is beautiful. It practically begs you to go to the river and carve it up like a Christmas ham!

New Indra Outfitting
Dagger is already widely known to have extremely comfortable and durable outfitting. New in 2024, is the Ergo Engage Thigh Brace System. It is easily adjusted to get the correct angle, aggressiveness, and padding to hold you perfectly in place while you paddle! This thigh brace system is a game changer. Also, it is available in all Dagger boats this year!

Check Out This Bow
I love the Indra bow! The high amount of rocker and high volume allow the bow to stay on the surface and go over features with ease. It really accelerates over holes and is confidence inspiring with how easy it is to control. The shape of the Indra bow is one of those rare moments in life where absolute perfection has been achieved!

Indra’s Slicy Stern
The Indra stern is able to sink to lift the bow easily. The level of control with turning the boat using the slicy stern is unmatched. It makes it effortless to get on line and stay on line. The stern does not grab in unwanted situations but is easy to engage when you want to lift the bow or turn. You no longer have to worry about your bow diving as the combination of the smooth sinking stern and the highly rockered bow will keep you on the surface and in the driver’s seat! That, my friend, will ease your mind like a bridge over troubled water!

Width and Edge
The width of the Indra provides a great deal of initial and secondary stability. I love the feeling of confidence this gives me! The boat is easy to put on edge and very balanced when you get there, allowing for dynamic carves and surefire turns. I regularly am on the verge of losing consciousness from the g-forces felt while carving turns in this boat!

Indra Brings The Speed
The Indra gets up to speed quickly and travels well in the current. It maintains its speed with its ability to stay on the surface and the bow’s ability to sail over features.

Boofing and Skipping
Are you kidding? This may be the best boofing and skipping boat on the planet! The stern allows you to lift the bow. Also, its quickness coupled with the bow rocker gets you defying gravity and launching out into the stratosphere like a rocket!

Surfing the Indra
The sharp edge and slicy stern, coupled with the bow rocker make the Indra a great surfing boat. The flat hull allows it to spin well too! You no longer have to pass up that surf wave on your favorite challenging run!

Dagger Indra Performance Kayak
Is the Dagger Indra the greatest boat of all time? The Indra is definitely a phenomenal, high performance kayak that sure is a delight to paddle! It combines the stability and predictability of a creek boat with the control and liveliness of a half slice.
The Indra helps give the confidence to run difficult whitewater. It is also dynamic enough to be exciting and fun to paddle on all water. You will feel a great amount of control to make running big rapids easy. The sharp edges will bite into eddies and allow for precise turns!
I can’t wait to paddle this boat more! Paddling the Indra will leave a smile on your face so wide that you will have to turn sideways to fit through a doorway!
