Calleva Farm

“The Greatest lesson came with the realization that good food cannot be reduced to single ingredients. It requires a web of relationships to support it.”
-Dan Barber

Our pursuit outdoors has led Calleva from the wilderness to the fields near Poolesville Maryland. Our slice of heaven lies on 165 acres in Montgomery County’s Ag Reserve.  This is the place where we took off our shoes, listened to the soil beneath our feet, and planted our future. The farm has given us roots.

We Till. This is a working farm with a wide variety of vegetables, grains, fruits, meats, and way too many weeds!

We Tell. Not only do we grow plants and animals, but we grow kids! Education is a big part of the Farm, and programming options are available for any age.

We Ride. The Farm is home to many animals including horses. With fields, stables, arenas, cross-country fields, and wooded trails; the farm offers unequalled facilities and education for folks interested in our equine friends.

And We Eat! The Calleva family has been working the land for many years and we are excited to share with you what is truely a special place. Come feast, learn, and celebrate the land that has given us so much with Dirty Dinners – a unique dining experience.
