Set on 165 acres of rolling hills at the western edge of Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve, Calleva Farm has given us roots. Calleva’s working farm is a beautiful place where horse riders, aspiring young farmers, and foodies of all ages can explore fun outdoor activities.
Equestrian
Calleva Horse Adventure Programs (a.k.a CHAPS) takes a relationship-driven approach to equestrian training. We create experiences that enable riders to build relationships with horses. Our equestrian instructional team strives to help student practice compassionate horse care and become better riders while incorporating an appreciation for farm life, environmental stewardship values, and a sense of adventure in horseback riding.

Calleva’s Nature Immersion Programs embrace the outdoor environment as a resource to allow children to embrace an attitude of curious, lifelong learners. Our students develop self-confidence, a sense of purpose, and resilience that enables them to take on new challenges.

Pizza Nights | Summer Saturdays
Families, friends, neighbors, and community groups are welcome to join us for delicious woodfired pizza, farm-fresh salads, local beers & wines, ice cream & an opportunity to wander the farm.
Halloween | October
In October, our farm is transformed into a nationally renowned haunt: Markoff’s Haunted Forest. MHF is a benefit performance, supporting Calleva’s camp scholarships & pro bono group programs.
Farm Store | Year-round
Calleva’s farm store offers food & gift items created by local producers, including meats, honey, fresh baked bread & treats from Calleva Farm. You’ll find locally sourced dairy products, chocolates, coffee & books from local authors.

Spring Equinox Supper

Join us on the farm for the FIRST DAY OF SPRING! This breezy, cold winter has us thinking about getting people outside & together on the farm. Think bonfire, ziplines, happy winter coated animals and your regular Calleva tomfoolery!
When: Friday, March 20th 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
What: A celebration of SPRING on the Calleva Farm. Join us for a buffet style dinner and community. Menu will be announced a week prior, once we are able to see what delights have sprung up from around the Ag Reserve.
Expect: 2-3 protein choices, 5-7 side dishes, and a few dessert options.
- 3 plate sizes starting at $20 per plate.
- Small Plate = 1 protein & 2 sides
- Medium Plate = 1 protein & 3 sides
- Large Plate = 2 Proteins & 4 sides
You do not have to select your plate size just yet, but be sure to come hungry. Reserve your table for $20 which will be credited towards your meal. **This is non refundable for no shows or cancellations made 48 hours prior to the event.
Weather: We are hoping for a balmy spring evening, but who knows around here? What we do know is that the Calleva Farm is the place to be when it rains, snows or is sunny. Bonfire nights and warm hearts, delicious food, what more do we need? (Bring layers, just in case you need a little more.)
