Camp Needs List
All Campers (Daily Needs)
- Attire — Campers should be ready to get wet every day!
- swim shorts
- a water shirt
- closed-toe water shoes
- If your child wear glasses, they should have sport glasses or a glasses strap.
- Water Bottle
- Sunscreen & Bug Spray – Due to state requirements, each camper must provide their OWN sunscreen & bug spray.
- Lunch – There is NOT a facility to keep lunches cool throughout the day; we suggest not sending perishable items.
- Towel – This is OPTIONAL, but can be nice if your camper would like it.
- Rain gear – Be ready for rain, if predicted!
- Backpack – Please make sure that all of your camper’s items fit in one bag
Why closed-toe shoes?
We ask that campers wear closed-toe water shoes that will easily stay on their feet in and out of the water – flip flops and crocs are not suitable! If you would like to send your camper wearing old sneakers, you are more then welcome to do so, but understand that these will get wet and waterlogged.

THINGS NOT TO BRING
- Cell phones and electronics. There is a high probability for loss and damage with these devices and they also take away from the social experience of camp. Calleva does not take responsibility for water damage, impact damage or loss of electronics (including cell phones). While we understand that cell phones are a great way to stay in touch, we have found that it is more of a handicap than benefit to your camper. Our instructors and counselors carry emergency cell phones and parent phone numbers with them at all times. If your child becomes ill during camp, we will get in touch with you. We do not allow any electronic games, music players, or other electronics during day camp or overnights.
