Overview:

New for 2019!!

This special sampler camp is for GIRLS ONLY, ages 9-12.  Each day the group will enjoy a different outdoor activity, which will be coupled with programming designed to help girls realize their individual power and be able to reach their highest potential.  Calleva is proud to be partnering with Girls on the Run to provide this special week of female-specific programming!

Each day, these girls will be introduced to a theme of the day and will do an activity around that theme.  The rest of the day will be jam-packed with fun outdoor experiences which relate to that day’s theme. Enjoy a day on Calleva’s challenge course, a day of kayaking on Seneca Creek, a day of outdoor rock climbing, a day of duckies (tandem inflatable kayaks), and a day of whitewater rafting!  All instruction will focus on helping each girl grow in self-awareness, confidence, and leadership.

Optional GearBags to purchase:

This year, Calleva is offering campers the option to purchase a GearBag during checkout which includes all the camping gear you will need for your overnight. These duffle bags come home with your camper on the bus before the overnight so it can be packed with personal clothes and toiletries!

Rain/Storm Plan:

We are aware that there are concerns regarding Rain & Storms at camp. Sometimes the weather requires a change in itinerary for water-related activities. If high water conditions cause safety concerns, Girls on the River will utilize a pre-planned alternative location. We will continue with outdoor activities as long as it’s possible to be safe and with happy campers.
