What to bring to Spring Single Day Camp at Calleva?

Please make sure your children are dressed for the weather!

They will also need to carry inside their small backpack:

  • Lunch
  • 2 small snacks
  • Reusable water bottle
  • COMPLETE change of clothes including shoes
  • Plastic bag for wet clothes
  • One packet of baby wipes or SMALL (pocket size) packet of tissues

It is vitally important that your child is dressed well for the weather and environment.

Students will have opportunities to get dirty, muddy and wet… ideal clothes are old, hand-me-downs, or any clothes that you don’t mind getting messy!

As the old saying goes, “There is no such thing as bad weather, just unsuitable clothing.” With sufficient, comfortable and appropriate clothing, children can enjoy being outside in any weather. Our goal is to show kids that the weather does not have to be perfect to enjoy an amazing outdoor adventure!

We also recommend: A change of clothes & plastic bag for wet stuff – all kids, even big ones, love to ‘wade too deep’ into the stream and accidentally get wet!
