My name is Vera Wiegmann. This is my first summer as a Calleva instructor, however, I used to come to camp Calleva every summer when I was younger. In addition to camp, I have been taking weekly horseback riding lessons at the Calleva farm for 9 years. Calleva holds such a special place in my heart and I'm so glad I have the privilege to work here this summer. Outside of Calleva, I was a volunteer at Lift Me Up, a therapeutic horseback riding center for children with disabilities. This was such a rewarding experience, and I loved being able to work with such amazing kids. One fun fact about me is that I love to go backpacking and camping.
