Nico first joined the Calleva team in 2016. This is his first summer back at Calleva since 2021, and he's absolutely thrilled to be back! Nico started as a camper at Calleva back in 2009, where he fell in love with the program and discovered his passion for outdoor activities. 'Spending summers at Calleva was one of the highlights of my childhood, and it really shaped the person that I am today.' His favorite Calleva activities are fishing, kayaking, SUP, and rock climbing. Nico has a passion for local wildlife and ecology, and loves to share knowledge about native fauna and their roles in our ecosystems. He is also a certified rescue Scuba Diver, and a huge DC sports fan!
