Elizabeth is a naturalist, gardener, educator, chicken keeper, and collector of interesting bugs, feathers, rocks, and nature facts. She has taught students from preschool through high school, but her favorite classroom is often outdoors-where there are birds to identify, plants to grow, critters to discover, and adventures waiting around every corner!

When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find her tending her garden, hiking local trails, spending time with her two dogs, Balu and Bugsy, or sharing stories from her years of keeping backyard chickens. She loves helping children discover the wonders of nature through hands-on exploration, curiosity, creativity, and a healthy dose of muddy fun. This summer, Elizabeth is excited to join the Calleva Camp community and can’t wait to explore, build, discover, and make unforgettable memories with campers in the great outdoors!
