"My name is Caleb Balmoris, I have been working at Calleva since summer 2017. I started as a camper in 2009, and have enjoyed every summer I’ve spent at Calleva. Calleva fostered my love for the outdoors and community, and it is my goal to share that same experience with others.

I’m most known for Instructing the leaders in training program (LIT) at Calleva, which I have done for the past six years. It is a program that is very special to me, and I am forever grateful to be apart of. Other programs I love facilitating at Calleva include rock climbing and the challenge course (big fan of think tank!)

When not instructing LIT or another activity at Calleva, I can be found snowboarding, kayaking, or thru hiking. Without all of the experience and confidence I gained at Calleva, I wouldn’t have been able to attain one of my biggest accomplishments, thru hiking the Colorado Trail! My favorite moments at Calleva include anytime I get to use my competitive spirit in paintball or song competitions."
