Averi joined the Calleva team in the summer of 2011. She found Calleva in college when looking for a way to gain experience working with children while pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been lucky to be able to continue spending her summers at Calleva ever since. During the school year she balances working as a teacher in MCPS with traveling and trying to get outside as much as possible. Averi loves the variety of activities that are available at Calleva and that no two summers, weeks, or days are ever exactly the same!
