Surf the Potomac, many people think that it’s not possible, but we are here to show you the way. This class is designed as a class for intermediate to advanced kayakers. We will assess the group at the beginning of class and come up with goals for all participants, whether it is working on combat rolling or doing flat spins in a feature. This class teaches students use their whole body to move the boat. By using your hips, legs, and torso instead of just the paddle, will help reduce paddling related injuries, as well as, increase your endurance.

If you have a flat water roll and some class III experience, you may join us for this class. Often students take this class multiple times as they learn something new every time they go out. Intermediate paddlers are expected to bring their own boat and equipment. If you need to rent from us, please contact the office before hand. There is a $50 per day fee.
