VA Explorers Camp
Virginia’s Explorers camp offers a fantastic introduction to all things outdoors at our magical, 200+ acre location in Great Falls, VA: Camp Fraser.
Each day, campers will participate in a variety of activities while exploring the wetlands and woods along the Potomac River. Camp Fraser is an deal for ages 6-9 since the water is shallow and calm:
- with lots of space to roam & explore streams and forest
- ideal water access for young beginners — wadable depth, slow moving
- easy access to several small islands
Calleva’s Explorer itineraries are designed with a variety of activities throughout the day, aiming to build campers confidence and competence in the outdoors. Our mission is to lay the groundwork for a lifetime of wonder-FULL outdoor adventuring!
