School/ Scouts/ Groups: (approx. $58/person) Many schools will choose to add this as an activity option but some of our smaller schools will solely do Horseback Riding for an outing. The educational and therapeutic skills that can be obtained through this unique relationship is exponential. Our staff are phenomenal with introducing students and groups to horses and building the confidence necessary to work outside our comfort skills. We have been offering riding to schools ever since our school programs started and the successes have been shared. Any private group interested in getting their team out for a memorable day trip, should contact Calleva and ask about CEEP. Please see School Programs for additional information. Boarding (prices below): Calleva is offering up its' farm to outsiders!!! The farm is far too beautiful to not give horse owners the option of moving their animal to Calleva. We have indoor and outdoor boarding available with many facilities at your disposal (see Calleva Farm Facilities). Full boarding is limited so inquire ASAP. You will need to schedule a visit of the property and our director for more information. Field board is just that, no stalls. Full board is stables at night, field turn out during the day. Tiny Tots ($40/hour) : Children from 1 to 7 can join up. It takes place on Friday afternoons. The instructor is Mary Markoff. She is the founder of the Calleva riding program and is VERY good with children. In fact, the majority of the Tiny Tots are her own grand children! They cover a lot of fun activities such as exercises on horseback (like around the world), stretching, 2 point position at the trot, posting, games, trail rides, etc. It is a load of fun and the kids don't even realize that they are gaining confidence and balance, they are just having a good time. There is a younger group lesson followed by an older group lesson. ADDITIONAL CEEP PROGRAMMING OPTIONS: If there is something that you did not see, chances are we either do have it or we can at least steer you in the right direction. NEEDS: Must wear boots and long pants for any Riding program.
