Calleva RIDING facilities
FACILITIES: CEEP has two locations: 1) the Seneca Barn located on Seneca Rd in Darnestown MD between Darnestown Rd and River Rd and 2) the Calleva Farm located on Martinsburg Rd in Dickerson, just past Poolesville off White's Ferry Rd.
Calleva Facilities are also available for Rent! *See Below These locations offer up varying facilities for different programming. It is important to note that all Birthday Parties, Winter Leasing, Explorer Riding Camp, and Saturday Club meet at the Seneca Barn. Everything else takes place at our facilities in Dickerson - please contact office and verify location if you are not clear on where to go.
Facilities at Seneca Barn: The Seneca location is our small intimate barn with 10 covered stalls, an outdoor lighted dressage arena, round riding/holding pen, tack and office rooms with covered porch for horse related crafts, food, and such. The Seneca Barn also has a 15 minute trail ride that meanders around 10 acres of wooded residential facilities. A climbing wall is available for additional climbing programming on birthday parties (please see Birthday Parties). This location is ideal for the novice, and has all the necessary tools to introduce students to quality horsemanship skills.
Facilities at Calleva Farm: The Calleva Farm boasts 160 acres of farmland and woods bordering miles of trails along the C&O National Historic Park. This farm also has several fenced pastures with multiple run-in sheds for rotation and separating of herds. Spaciously separated are a complete Cross Country Course, sanded outdoor Jumping Arena, Holding Rings, Indoor Dressage Arena with stadium seating, classrooms, 15 indoor stalls, tack & feed room, office, and beautiful riding terrain and much more for the horse enthusiast. This farm is something to take in for yourself, and if you are looking for a place to grow with your horse - then this is the place!
*Calleva Facilities are available for Rent! Groups, Clinics, and Individuals can rent the above facilities like: cross-country course, private trail, and indoor or outdoor arenas. Rental fees are $10 /hour /horse /facility.
The Calleva Farm has been selected to host this year's UpCo Horse Show on July 1st and 2nd!
