Portable Climbing Wall
Portable Wall Cost: $900 (First 2 hours) + $400 Each additional hour. About the Portable Wall: Calleva owns a towering 30' portable climbing wall with 4 belay ropes/routes. The 3 faces offer up a variety of routes from pitch angle, hold sizes, and route difficulty. Up to 4 persons can climb on the wall at a time and you have the choice of offering it for free for event visitors or charging a per climb fee for your organization. Feel secure in highly qualified staff facilitating a safe and managable event. Calleva provides all the necessary equipment to keep your visitors safe, secure and comfortable. Calleva runs the portable climbing wall to the same high standards as our other programs. Portable Wall is Ideal for: Fairs & Festivals, Grand Openings, Fund Raisers, Company Picnics, Family Reunions, Large Parties, Corporate Retreats, Special Promotions, Scouts Jamborees, Church Events, Birthday Parties and many more events!! Portable Wall Transport: Transportation of the climbing wall is included in the cost if it is within the immediate Washington DC Area and the outer limits of Calleva Bus Routes (see transportation).
Important Requirements:
- All Participants MUST Wear a Climbing Harness (provided).
- The set up area should be relatively flat and away from overhanding objects (tree limbs, power lines, etc.)
- The set up area should also be a firm surface (grassy areas are ok) Muddy areas are to be avoided.
- Area Needed for Operation: 16 ft. X 35ft (w/o vehicle); 16ft X 50ft (w/ tow vehicle).
- Minimum Clearance Height to Set Up: 34ft
- Minimum Weight of Climbers: none
- Maximum Weight of Climbers: 250 lbs.
