About Mountain Biking CLS: Serious mountain bikers know that Moab is the place to bike, but we wont just stop in Moab we will also ride at some of the best locations in the southwest. This trip tackles many of the locations on a mountain bikers "must ride" list. Our trip will start off in Salt Lake City and then work its way down to Moab. Down in Moab we will ride trails like Porcupine Rim, Slickrock, Amasa Back, and Sourveign Trail. After a few days in Moab braving the heat depending on the group we can either continue on to Fruita or head back north to escape the heat. We will be spending four to six hours out on the trail everyday so previous riding experience is a must. Out on the trail students will learn advanced riding techniques, bike maintance, and simple map reading. When we aren't out on the trail we will be swimming in local creeks and rivers. This trip is designed for the intermediate to advanced biking enthusiast.
