About CLS: The "High Adventures" are now the "Calleva Leadership School". Tony Witter and Karen Seibert, Head Instructors for the "Leaders in Training" course, have integrated the teaching of leadership models into high adventures. While doing exciting activities they love, campers learn about beliefs and attitudes and how they affect feelings and motivation. Campers experience how to integrate empowering beliefs and how to turn fear into power to accomplish goals. Through fun adventures and applying leadership models, campers gain increased confidence and self-esteem!
Calleva has led the Washington DC Area in outdoor adventure education for youth and adults; through camps, schools and corporate programs. This year we have combined two very successful programs, Leaders-in-Training and High Adventures, to create an inspired NEW school for learning valuable leadership skills in an incredible outdoor setting. The Calleva Leadership School or "CLS" uses the impowering techniques designed by Tony in our LIT and Corporate program and implements those skills into our outdoor adventures. Students can pick from several activities, to learn more about themselves and the activity than they thought possible.
CLS programs range from 5-14 days to allow our campers more time to learn and challenge themself. Programs are designed for coed groups between 12-16 years old. Get ready for the next step in outdoor adventure education with the NEW Calleva Leadership School!

TRAVEL: Calleva provides all transportation for local CLS programs through our fleet of Buses. Airfare is usually included in the price of our away programs. Further information is available on each individual page. If airfare is not included, the office picks suggested flights for each program and offers the option of ordering through Calleva and traveling with staff. Parents/Campers can make their own flight arrangements using miles or discounts, as long as they arrive at the destination within a reasonable time frame.
