YOUR CAMPING EXPERIENCE: We Challenge campers to develop a sense of group participation and individual stewardship, instilling confidence in each camper. These goals, combined with a challenging and fun-filled atmosphere, summarize our commitment to provide campers with a unique summer experience.

Campers who have attended any Calleva program, would likely identify their successes at camp with Calleva's leadership. Our staff are women and men with years of experience on the river, trail, rock and ocean. They are highly trained in the tools of their trade and love what they do.

Safety is our #1 Priority: Although there are inherent risks involved in these activities, our staff are trained to run effective programs. Our staff want all campers to develop a sense of group participation, individual stewardship, confidence, & they create a fun environment for successful development. Our efforts are in finding responsible staff with positive life experiences and giving them the tools and support to do their job.

Our staff are certified and trained and we either meet or often exceed ACA requirements. Campers will see many of the same staff year after year, and those staff know our programs, attended our orientation, worked our year round programs, and most importantly believe in the Calleva experience!
